Virtual Event

Breastfeeding: Home, Pump and Work - Virtual (6/18/24)

Live Virtual Class

An experienced breastfeeding educator will teach you how to provide milk to your baby after you return home and as you prepare to return to activities, work or school. This class will cover how to put together, use, and clean a pump. You will also learn when to begin pumping and guidelines for breastmilk storage. We will discuss when and how to start offering a bottle to your baby. We encourage you to take this class within the first weeks of returning home with baby. It will be tailored to meet each student’s needs, so please come ready to ask questions.

If you plan to begin breastfeeding and move to pumping, we encourage you to also take Basics of Breastfeeding 1-Virtual. If you plan to exclusively pump, Basics of Breastfeeding 2-Virtual can be taken independently. This class can be taken either before delivery or within the first weeks of returning home.
