Finley Pharmacy at UnityPoint Health - Finley Hospital

Located within UnityPoint Health - Finley Hospital, this location provides a convenient location for patients in need of filling prescriptions before being discharged. This added convenience means you do not have to make another stop on your way home.

The hours for filling prescriptions at Finley Hospital for home use are Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Meds-to-Beds Program

UnityPoint Health – Finley Pharmacy offers a ‘Meds-to-Beds’ program designed with patients’ health in mind. This program eliminates the need for patients to stop at a pharmacy on their way home from the hospital. Instead, our outpatient pharmacy team evaluates and prepares medications physicians prescribe for home, delivers them to the patient’s bedside and discusses the medications with the patient before they are discharged.

This Meds-to-Beds program is a fast, convenient service for patients that is offered at no additional cost beyond their normal co-payment. The program has proven to not only ease a patient’s transition back home, but also reduces the risk of readmission and improves outcomes.

While Meds-to-Beds is offered for patients’ convenience, it is an optional program. Patients have the right to select any pharmacy they wish to provide the medications their physicians prescribe. The medication cost should be the same as a regular pharmacy co-payment. Additionally, Finley Pharmacy offers competitive prices for over-the-counter medications.
