Occupational Medicine
Our care philosophy relies on evidence-based medicine practiced with the goal of safely placing applicants into their new positions or quickly and safely returning injured employees back to work. Our medical providers understand the business needs of our clients and the numerous state and federal regulations that impact healthcare in the workplace, and this knowledge guides their medical decision-making when appropriate. Ultimately, we strive to partner with businesses to improve the health of their workforce through high-quality pre-employment screenings and specialized work-related injury care.
If you have been injured or hurt while at your job and have filed a work's compensation claim with your company, you will be referred to an occupational medicine clinic. Here you will be properly evaluated and treated by a provider. In addition, occupational medicine clinics are used for other work-related issues, such as:
- EKGs
- X-rays
- Work-related injury care
- Lab work including blood testing
- Job ergonomic analysis and recommendations
- Hearing conservation
- Employee health screening
- Immunizations & travel medicine
- Disability evaluation
- Drug & alcohol testing
- Blood borne pathogens exposure follow-up
- Safety programs and education
- Physicals
- Pre-employment (post-offer)
- Department of Transportation
- Surveillance
- Respiratory clearance
- Fitness-For-Duty
- Immigration Physicals
