Biography
Why did you become a mental health provider? So that I could use my personal life experiences with mental health to deliver empathetic, compassionate, care to others.
What qualities best describe the care you provide to your patients? I am empathetic, compassionate and a facilitator of self-awareness, I believe that educating patients about their mental health issues or those of their family members allows us to collaborate on treatment options and life goals.
Being a mental healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? I am motivated by my own personal journey with mental health, knowing that positive change is possible. I strive to instill hope in my patients.
What is the most important message you would like to share with your patients? Patients are the most important part of their own treatment team, and as such, they have the right and responsibility to collaborate with providers regarding treatment options. It's also important they never, ever give up!
What would you like your patients to know about you? I truly care about the wellbeing of each and every one of them!
What fun facts that you would like the community to know about you? I love marching band, drum and bugle corps, and winter guard. I can still spin and toss a rifle!
