Virtual Event
Preparing for Childbirth-Virtual (2 classes: 2/24 & 2/26/25)
In Preparing for Childbirth – Virtual you will learn all about labor and birth. We will talk about contractions and other signs of labor, when to call your provider, and when to go to the hospital. We will also explain medications used for labor, cesarean birth, and other medical procedures. This class will also cover comfort and relaxation techniques, the role of your support person and decision-making for a confident birth.
An experienced childbirth educator will meet with you virtually for two class sessions. During class, you can talk to an expert who can answer your questions in real time.
To add to your learning, you will receive an InJoy app card titled “Understanding Birth". The information found here is available to you for 18 months, but we highly recommend looking it over before class starts.
