RN Student Stipend Program
If you're a student earning your RN license at a UnityPoint Health college or doing your clinicals, internship, or externship at a UnityPoint Health facility, you may be eligible for our RN student stipend program! You may also be eligible if you've completed your clinicals, internship, or externship at a UnityPoint Health facility within the past academic year.
RN Program Summary
- $1,000 monthly stipend for up to six months prior to UnityPoint Health employment start date
- $500 bonus after completion of boards
- Eligible for applicable sign-on bonus
RN Program Scope
- Includes RN students of all specialties, whether their UnityPoint Health role upon start date will be acute, non-acute, hospital, homecare or clinic
- Does not require the student to be a UnityPoint Health PRN or FTE team member during the stipend timeframe of up to six months while completing RN education/licensure
- A commitment to become a .8 FTE UnityPoint Health RN for a minimum of 24 months upon start date at a UnityPoint Health hospital or UnityPoint at Home facility in the RN role
- Requires formal talent acquisition interview and selection process
LPN Student Stipend Program
If you're a student doing your clinical rotation in a UnityPoint Health facility, you may be eligible for our LPN student stipend program! You may also be eligible if you've completed your clinicals at a UnityPoint Health facility within the past academic year.
LPN Program Summary
- $750 monthly stipend for up to six months prior to UnityPoint Health employment start date
- $250 bonus after completion of boards
- Eligible for applicable sign-on bonus
LPN Program Scope
- Does not require the student to be a UnityPoint Health PRN or FTE team member during the stipend timeframe of up to six months while completing LPN education/licensure
- A commitment to become a .8 FTE UnityPoint Health LPN for a minimum of 18 months upon start date at a UnityPoint Health hospital, clinic, or UnityPoint at Home facility in the LPN role
- If you continue education to become an RN, you may also be eligible to receive the RN student stipend upon fulfillment of RN program requirements
- Requires formal talent acquisition interview and selection process
Medical Imaging Student Stipend Program
If you’re a medical imaging student pursuing licensure, you may be eligible for our Medical Imaging student stipend program!
Medical Imaging Program Summary
- $1,000 monthly stipend for up to six months prior to UnityPoint Health employment start date
- $500 bonus after completion of licensure
- Eligible for applicable sign-on bonus
Medical Imaging Program Scope
- Includes medical imaging students of all modalities such as Rad Tech, CT Tech, Ultrasound/Sonography Tech, Mammo Tech, Nuclear Med Tech, and more. Contact a recruiter near you for details!
- Does NOT require you to be student at a UnityPoint Health-owned college/program or doing clinicals at UnityPoint Health
- Does not require the student to be a UnityPoint Health PRN or FTE team member during their stipend payout timeframe
- A commitment to become a .8 FTE UnityPoint Health medical imaging professional for a minimum of 24 months upon start date at UnityPoint Health (clinic or hospital)
- Requires formal talent acquisition interview and selection process
CMA Student Stipend Program
If you’re a student doing your externship in a UnityPoint Health facility, you may be eligible for our CMA student stipend program!
CMA Program Summary
- Eligible for applicable CMA sign-on bonus
- $1,000 additional stipend payment at 90 days for students who complete their externship at a UnityPoint Health facility
CMA Program Scope
- Does not require the student to be a UnityPoint Health PRN or FTE team member during their externship
- A commitment to become a .8 FTE UnityPoint Health CMA for a minimum of 18 months upon start date at UnityPoint Health (clinic or hospital)
- Requires formal talent acquisition interview and selection process
EMT/Paramedic Student Stipend Program
If you’re an EMT or Paramedic student doing your externship at a UnityPoint Health facility, you may be eligible for our EMT/Paramedic student stipend program!
EMT/Paramedic Program Summary
- $500 monthly stipend for up to six months prior to UnityPoint Health employment start date
- $250 bonus after completion of certification
- Eligible for applicable sign-on bonus
EMT/Paramedic Program Scope
- Does not require the student to be a UnityPoint Health PRN or FTE team member during their stipend payout timeframe
- A commitment to become a .8 FTE UnityPoint Health EMT or Paramedic for a minimum of 18 months upon start date at UnityPoint Health (clinic or hospital)
