About Us

Protecting the health and environment of area workers and managing healthcare services for Tri-States employers, is the mission of UnityPoint Health - Finley Occupational Health. We offer businesses of all sizes a comprehensive program to improve the health, safety, and productivity of their employees.

We will work closely with you to design a service package to ensure that you receive the most appropriate and cost-effective occupational health program for your company. Businesses pay only for the services needed, as they are used.

Diagnosis and Treatment
If a worker is injured, Finley Occupational Health will promptly care for your employee. You will receive same day follow-up communication on treatment administered and the employee's return to work status.
Case Management
The key to cost control is case management, which is why Finley has a dedicated case manager for employers. Returning a worker to the job in a safe and timely manner requires the coordinated efforts of a knowledgeable and skilled team of medical professionals. We understand that employer consensus with treatment and testing is essential, as the worker is your most important asset.

Our professionals, who are fully familiar with the work, the diagnosis, the work place and the goals of the employer will move the worker quickly and safely through rehabilitation and control costs for the employer.
Employee Education and Training

We strive to help businesses be a safe place for both employees and the customers they serve. We provide education and training on the following:

  • Drug and Alcohol Supervisor Training
  • American Heart Association, Heartsaver First Aid and CPR Training
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training
  • Employee Health Fair (1 free two hour session per year)
Contracted Onsite Medical Professional Services

UnityPoint Health Finley Occupational Health staff offers complete coverage when it comes to contracted onsite nursing services.

Flu Shot/Vaccines
At UnityPoint Health - Finley Occupational Health, our team works with your organization to provide vaccination services for your employees. With the flu season in the United States lasting from November through April, and its strongest momentum continuing from late December through early March, we realize the importance of flu prevention and upholding the good health of your employees throughout the year.
Hearing Testing
An effective hearing conservation program offers numerous benefits to both employers and employees. Finley's Hearing Conservation program provides annual testing and rechecks of hearing, as well as training to prevent hearing loss for employees working in noisy environments.

We also work with your company to provide recommendations on hearing protection.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), American's with Disabilities Act (ADA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and numerous other agencies require employee training and testing, medical evaluation, and documentation of compliance.
