The Colors of Care Youth Summit is aimed at increasing representation and equity in health care. The program is free for all students grade 3-12 (parents and guardians welcome) and features:

  • Keynote address by Dr. Kristina Cook (pediatrics) and Dr. Russell Buchanan (neurosurgery).
  • Age-appropriate breakout sessions*:
    • Financing healthcare education
    • Virtual reality
    • Healthcare careers
    • Residency 101
    • Service line opportunities
    • Pathway to a healthcare career
    • Simulation lab
  • Exhibitor hall
  • Healthcare provider panel discussion and Q&A
  • Lunch and snacks provided
