PALS Instructor Renewal Course: Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Purpose & Intended Audience

To provide physicians, nurses, paramedics and respiratory therapists with current concepts of advanced pediatric life support as defined by the American Heart Association.

Prerequisites

• Provide proof of current American Heart Association (AHA) PALS Provider status.
• Taught a minimum of 4 courses in a 2 year period.

Cost

$125

The American Heart Association will issue an eCard verifying the successful completion of the PALS Instructor Course. 

Renewal is required every 2 years to maintain instructor status. There is no continuing education approved for this course

All courses held on the Iowa Methodist Medical Center/Blank Children's Hospital Campus in the Education and Research Center unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation Policy

Blank Children's Hospital reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. In this event, you will be notified and your entire registration fee refunded.

Refund Policy

The registration fee, minus $30.00 is refundable up to 3 business days prior to the program. After that time, no refund is available.
