In-Person Event
ATLS Provider Course October 2nd & 3rd 2025
PROVIDER COURSE:
2-day Student Provider Course = 17 CME credits
The Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course teaches established standards of trauma care and practical life-saving skills. The course is designed for the physician who does not treat victims of major trauma regularly and does not have immediate access to sophisticated emergency care facilities.
Physicians treating trauma patients in emergency or surgical departments also benefit from this course training. This is a two-day course conducted with the use of lecture presentation, coupled with laboratory work and unique skill stations. At each skill station, faculty first demonstrates specific techniques, and then participants practice these skills in simulated emergency situations.
Upon successful completion of the ATLS course, the student physician will receive a card bearing an expiration date and signatures of the ACS state trauma committee chairman, and the local course instructor, attesting to successful completion of the ATLS course.
