ENPC Instructor Course
Purpose
The goal of the ENPC instructor course is to prepare nurses to effectively teach the ENPC provider course.
Pre-Requisites
Participants must be an RN and possess a current unrestricted nursing license. They must have been identified as having instructor potential during their provider course. Additional pre-testing and/or course observation might be necessary depending on the date and edition of the provider course. Participants must also have identified a course director who will support them through the monitoring process.
Pre-course preparation is essential. This includes completing the online modules, studying the 6th edition ENPC Provider manual, and being ready to teach assigned course components. Email address is REQUIRED to complete on-line modules and for course confirmation.
Continuing Education Credits
The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation Provider Unit # P0232.
The Emergency Nurses Association is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #2322. This 6th edition ENPC instructor course has been approved for a total of 9.25 contact hours which includes pre-course module work.
