Describe your typical patient: Typically as an infectious disease provider, patients are referred for recent travel, exposure to infectious agents or underlying medical conditions that predispose them to infections.

What would your patients say about you? My patients would describe me as knowledgeable, compassionate and attentive. They appreciate my thoroughness in explaining their conditions and treatment options in ways that are easy to understand. They also commend my willingness to listen to their concerns and involve them in decision-making regarding their care. Overall, they feel confident in my expertise and grateful for the quality of care I provide.

What is the most important thing to know about you? Patients can be assured I have expertise and experience treating infectious diseases. I am knowledgeable about the latest advancements in the field, and I will provide them with the most effective and personalized care possible. I communicate clearly and compassionately, and I am committed to their well-being and safety.

How would you describe the ideal provider/patient relationship? It is one built on mutual respect, trust and open communication.

Describe your medical philosophy: I believe transparency is key to fostering trust and understanding in the provider-patient relationship. Patients and referring providers/staff should know that my medical philosophy centers around evidence-based practice, where decisions are guided by the best available scientific evidence, coupled with clinical expertise and patient values. I prioritize patient safety, effective communication and collaborative decision-making to ensure the highest quality of care. Additionally, I am committed to ongoing education and professional development to stay current with advancements in the field and continuously improve patient outcomes.
