Biography
Why did you become a mental health service provider? I previously worked on an inpatient unit for many years and really enjoyed helping my patients. I decided to take a more active role in helping them by furthering my education.
What qualities best describe the care you provide to your patients? I listen to what is bothering them, and with their input, I develop a treatment plan to help them meet their mental healthcare goals.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? Helping make a difference and improving the lives of others.
What is the most important message you would like to share with your patients? I am here to help patients reach their goals. The main focus of each treatment plan is determined by the patient.
What would you like your patients to know about you? I am constantly reading the most recent studies to ensure I provide the safest, most effective care available.
Are there any fun facts you would like the community to know about you? I was raised in Florida, but I have lived in Iowa for 20 years. I love to travel across the west with my family.
Clinical Interests: Adults, Children, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, ADHD and Mood Disorders.
Personal Interests: I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family.
