Biography

With over a decade of experience, I am passionate about building lasting relationships with my patients and their families. I find great joy in treating individuals across all stages of life and following them through their unique health journeys.

I am from central Iowa, grew up in Ames, earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Iowa State University (go Cyclones!) and completed my medical training at Des Moines University. My professional journey has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to manage a wide range of health conditions, from chronic diseases like hypertension and diabetes to acute illnesses and injuries.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and three children. I enjoy running, playing guitar, woodworking, cooking, spending time outdoors and traveling.

I strive to be compassionate in my practice, always aiming to provide the best care possible for my patients. I believe in the power of humor to create a comfortable and trusting environment. My practice philosophy centers on shared decision-making and educating and empowering patients to take an active role in their health. It is a privilege to serve the Quad Cities community, and I look forward to continuing to support the health and well-being of my patients for many years to come.
