Medical Interests
Dr. Hanson, also a Certified Lactation Consultant, has a special interest in working with new moms and breastfeeding. She also enjoys working with her patients to promote physical activity, good nutrition and general wellness.
Medical Philosophy
Dr. Hanson focuses on the child, not the illness that they have. She makes sure that her recommendations are viable in the real world and feels it’s important for each family to be involved. Dr. Hanson educates her families, provides options and asks them to decide how they’d like to proceed. Dr. Hanson hopes that parents can be open with her and encourages this through her laid-back and approachable demeanor.

Dr. Hanson enjoys spending time with her children, cooking (especially with local ingredients), reading and being outdoors.
