Why did you become a physician?
I enjoy helping people return to their favorite activities in order to live life to the fullest.

As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
I like to provide patients with multiple treatment options and share in the decision-making process to help patients achieve their goals of care. I try to optimize non-surgical treatments prior to discussing any form of surgery.

What type of care/clinic interests are you most passionate about?
I'm most passionate about helping patients manage or eliminate symptoms secondary to arthritis.

Why did you choose your specialty?
I grew up working for my father’s construction business and found that the skills I gained from this experience transitioned well to orthopedic surgery. I enjoy working with my hands to improve the quality of life for my patients.

What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
I focus on evidence-driven and patient-centered care.

Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
As an orthopedic surgeon, my goal is to improve the quality of life for each and every one of my patients using non-surgical and surgical treatment options.

What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
I'm proud to be one of the only fellowship-trained joint replacement surgeons in the region. I believe everyone should have the same access to health care.
