Biography
Professional Statement: As a therapist, I enjoy working with individuals to help them process and explore difficult emotions and situations. I specialize in working with children and young adults, but enjoy all ages. I am fully trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and have completed trainings in play therapy. I also have experience treating clients with oppositional defiance, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and other mental illnesses.
Why did you become a provider? I decided to become a therapist after working with children in different capacitites for many years. This helped me recognize the importance of pediatric mental health and the impact it has on not only the child but the rest of the family as well. This motivated me to pursue my Master of Social Work degree so I could aid children and adults in bettering their mental health.
What is the most important thing you'd like patients to know about you? I offer an unbiased and open atmosphere to allow clients to explore and process emotions and experiences.
What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy reading, travelling, hiking and playing with my dogs. A fun fact about me is I speak German!
