Biography

ABOUT EMILY FITZPATRICK
Why did you become a physician/provider?
I look forward to coming up with patient medical plans that make sense for them and their lives to help them live as the best version of themselves.

As a provider, what is your medical philosophy? I really listen to my patients. They will tell you what's wrong and what's important - you just need to listen.

What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about? I love performing procedures.

Why did you choose your specialty? I enjoy taking care of people and making their daily lives healthier.

What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients? Compassionate care.

Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? I'm particularly motivated when I work with a patient and we find a solution that improves their overall quality of life.

What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice? I like to problem-solve for specific medical issues, but I also treat each patient with their whole person in mind.

Personal interests: I most enjoy reading, exercising and spending time with my family.

PATIENT TESTIMONIAL:
This was my first visit with a UPH physician due to my recent insurance change. I have been seeing [another] provider for years and absolutely loved her and her staff, so I was feeling very uneasy about seeing a different doctor. My visit to establish care with Emily Fitzpatrick eased ALL worries about having a new provider! From the time I was warmly greeted at registration, to getting my initial vitals and some H&P from the medical assistant, seeing my provider, checking out and scheduling my follow up, I was treated as if I were the only patient all day. I felt cared for and heard. I'm so happy to be a UPH patient now.
