Biography
Why did you become a physician/provider? I became a physician assistant because I wanted to serve as a liaison between clinicians and patients. From my own personal experience, I know how important it is to have a clinician in your corner, rooting for you and your health. I knew as a PA I'd have a more defined role in patients' care and wellness. I wanted to be able to foster long-lasting relationships to better understand my patients' needs and serve my community.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy? To give every patient the care I'd want my family to receive.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about? I have special interest in dermatology, women's health and physical medicine.
Why did you choose your specialty? Family medicine allows me to experience all aspects of life alongside my patients.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients? Thorough and collaborative.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? I strive to motivate my patients and help overcome any limitations they may have to enjoying daily life and activities. I hope to bring a new thought or idea to the conversation and am driven to help my patients feel their best.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice? I'm passionate about giving my best to my patients and coworkers every day. I'm motivated to make my patients feel their best, achieve their goals and enjoy the process along the way!
Personal Interests: I enjoy exercising, baking, spending time with my family, friends and dogs, and I'm a huge Chicago Cubs fan.
