Biography
Kasie Kolosik, LMSW, specializes in working with children, teens and adults, offering compassionate, supportive and directive care. She holds a certificate in End of Iowa Field of Practice and aims to meet her patients where they are in their process, encouraging them forward. Kasie's prior work spans medical social work, case management, advance care planning, crisis counseling and suicide prevention counseling. Her clinical expertise includes working with individuals with anxiety, mood disorders, grief/loss, trauma and psychosis. Kasie is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (adolescents and adults) and EMDR (children, adolescents, and adults). She also integrates other treatments like CBT, self-compassion work and mind-body approaches. When working with kids, Kasie works to strength the child-caregiver bond and help resource caregivers. In addition to seeing clients for therapy, Kasie also serves as the family educator for the clinic’s RESTORE First Episode Psychosis program.
