Medical Philosophy: 

Sara prioritizes patient-centered and evidence-based care. She believes in tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s unique needs and preferences, fostering a collaborative relationship built on trust and open communication. She stays informed of the latest research and guidelines, which ensures that her patients receive the most effective interventions and that their individual context and values are considered.  

Medical Interests: 

Sara is interested in diabetes management, non-surgical weight management, and women's health. She has an extensive background in chronic disease management including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular disease. She also has a background in geriatric medicine and mental health management.  

Personal Interests: 

In her free time, Sara enjoys long walks and runs with her dog, Marge. She also teaches exercise classes on weekends and volunteers with the McFarland Education Foundation, raising funds for student scholarships and teacher grants in the area.
