Biography
Why did you become a physician/provider?
Early on in my nursing career, I knew I wanted more. My desire for additional knowledge and responsibility grew each day that I worked in the emergency department. I became a provider because I want to make a positive impact on the community by helping to improve health and wellness in all populations.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
My focus is to provide holistic, patient-centered care to each individual in a safe and welcoming environment.
Why did you choose your specialty?
My nursing background is in emergency medicine and so I chose to become a family nurse practitioner because I love working with all ages and populations. I enjoy the diversity and believe it helps me to build a greater connection with my community.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
I am driven to help my patients obtain optimal health. I am also motivated by my desire to continue to learn and grow each day in the medical profession!
What are you personal interests?
I love traveling, hiking and practicing yoga.
