UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's has proudly been a Children's Miracle Network Hospital since 1989. We have locally raised more than $12 million to benefit children's healthcare services and programs that care for kids treated at St. Luke's and its affiliate clinics. 100% of the funds that are raised are used locally, right here in Sioux City and surrounding communities.

Children’s hospitals are on the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations. But they can’t do it alone. As a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, St. Luke’s cares for more than 42,000 pediatric patient visits each year facing challenges like diabetes, premature birth, pneumonia, and other illnesses.

Locally, St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network partners with these national businesses to raise funds through various year-round campaigns. These campaigns include rounding up when checking out, purchasing iconic Miracle Balloons, and asking for donation at the registers. St. Luke’s supports a 22-county radius, and includes partners like Walmart and Sam’s Club, Love’s Travel Stops, Panda Express, Dairy Queen, Ace Hardware and many more.

Programs
Extra Life, a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, unites gamers worldwide to raise funds for their local Children’s Hospitals through gaming. All donations collected by Extra Life participants are distributed to their chosen member hospital as unrestricted funds, ensuring that donations have a significant and direct impact on kids and families in need.
Dance Marathon is a student-led program, year-round philanthropic movement that unites students at over 400 colleges, universities and K-12 schools across the United States and Canada. Each campus’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon organization works throughout the year to raise funds and awareness for their local member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
