We are Committed
Serving Our Community
The UnityPoint Health Family Medicine Clinic in Conrad has played a vital role in providing primary care services in the rural community and surrounding areas.
The Family Medicine Clinic is a not-for-profit healthcare provider focused on providing exceptional care for Conrad and beyond. Each year, the clinic logs about 12,000 patient visits, including patients from across the area. Every person is cared for with empathy and expertise.
However, in its current location, the clinic can only support two providers, and the facility lacks features that newer, modern clinics rely on. The building is out of-date and requires significant ongoing maintenance and upkeep.
A new facility, built on land the community has already donated, will let us offer three full-time providers as well as enhanced technology and services to greatly improve access to quality care now and into the future.
Community Health
A vibrant family medicine clinic is an invaluable asset to our community. We demonstrate our ongoing commitment to Conrad and the surrounding area by reinvesting all revenues back into supporting the excellent care delivered by healthcare professionals who live here.
The clinic currently provides vital primary care and family medicine services for Conrad and the surrounding area, including:
- Pediatric, adolescent and adult care
- Well visits, preventative care and physicals
- Immunizations for children and adults
- Treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, from flu to broken bones
- Management of chronic illness
- Coordination of complex care with specialists
- Nutrition and weight loss care
- Referrals to specialists
- Basic women’s healthcare including pap smears
A new facility is the foundation of a healthy future for our shared community. Once built, the facility will allow for the addition of a new full-time provider, bringing the total to three. The new space will be much more efficient, and will offer enhanced patient safety and comfort along with new lab, X-ray equipment and a telehealth room for access to specialty providers.
Donate Today
UnityPoint Health is investing a majority of the funds for the project but needs private support as well. Our goal is to raise $1 million in private funds over a five-year pledge period to support the building construction — allowing for a third provider — as well as new medical equipment and furnishings.
