Thank you for all you did for my husband...
Each and every day comments of gratitude are shared among associates, nurses, physicians and volunteers at Allen Hospital. Just like the quote above, these comments come through surveys filled out by patients and families who have visited Allen Hospital.
After being cared for at UnityPoint Health – Waterloo, you may wish to thank those who assisted you or your loved ones. Patients and families share their appreciation in a variety of ways. Some with their words, others with cookies or treats for a department and many do so with donations to the Allen Foundation.
Patients and families, through a tangible expression, recognize those who've made their journey easier. Patients offer a donation to the Allen Foundation in honor of an Allen physician, provider, nurse or other employee or as a way to recognize an entire department. These donations help to fund programs and equipment that add to enhancing the patient experience at UnityPoint Health – Waterloo.
"How can I express my gratitude for my exemplary care?"
A tribute gift can be any size – there is no minimum or maximum donation amount to honor your caregiver. The Allen Foundation will share with your honoree that a gift was made to recognize his or her care and any kind words that you may write. The gift amount will not be shared.
To learn more about honoring your caregiver, please call Mike Lind, Executive Director at (319) 235-3960. Or you can make your gift online. Be sure to check the box that indicates your gift is in honor of someone.
