The Pediatric Rehabilitation Center at UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital is dedicated to providing a supportive environment for each and every child to be the best they can be.
The services and reputation of the Pediatric Rehabilitation team has remained strong and grown over the last 23 years, including, the center’s location and square footage, number of dedicated team members and the number of children served annually.
The Pediatric Therapy Center serves children from birth to 21 years of age with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities. These diagnoses include, but are not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Cerebral Vascular Accident (Stroke), Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, Feeding Disorders, Genetic Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorder, Spina Bifida, Spinal Cord Injury, Seizure Disorders, Torticollis, and Traumatic Brain Injury. Pediatric rehabilitation programs are long-term therapy programs for growing children as they learn how to eat, walk, play and communicate. Our team of specialists offer physical, occupational and speech therapies, as well as feeding therapies and serial casting.
A large percentage of the patients (approximately 50%) who are served by our clinic are on state Medicaid or other insurance which is based on financial need and/or disability.

Proposal: Ensuring the Pediatric Therapy Center at Finley Hospital has the ability to serve children for generations to come, we now seek to establish an endowment for the Pediatric Therapy Center.
The endowment will provide, in perpetuity, long-term sustainability of the Pediatric Therapy Center, ensuring pediatric therapy services continue its mission of improving the lives of children in our community.
It is important that we address our ability to not only sustain, but also grow our impact and reach through an endowment that will assist in supporting a robust offering of therapy services well into the future.
An endowment will create an impression by providing permanent, self-sustaining support as an enduring resource that continues to benefit the center over time.
Your gift will provide a perpetual impact. Finley Health Foundation Endowments are invested and distributed under the direction of the Foundation Board of Directors. Annually, a portion of the fund’s value will be awarded to support the center. Funds will be used to support needs such as, the replacement of games, mats, swings, bikes, balance equipment, feeding equipment, staff education and innovative therapy. Community support will ensure the program continues to serve the children of our community.
Your gift to the endowment shapes a legacy, creating a lasting difference that extends beyond your lifetime.
Endowed gifts are like seeds planted in perpetuity, growing into strong trees of support for generations to come.
To make a donation to the Pediatric Therapy Center Endowment, you can mail a check to Finley Health Foundation, 350 N. Grandview Ave., 52001, donate online, or call (563) 589-2586.
